Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 6–8 black tea bags
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup cold water (for dilution)
- 1–2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh strawberries & lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water.
Simmer for 10–15 minutes until the strawberries break down.
Strain the mixture to remove solids and set aside to cool.
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Remove from heat and add tea bags.
Steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
Pour the brewed tea into a large pitcher.
Add the strawberry syrup and stir well.
Mix in lemon juice and adjust sweetness if needed.
5. ChillAdd 1 cup cold water and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
6. ServeServe over ice with fresh strawberries and lemon slices for garnish.

- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor, but frozen works in a pinch.
